Because of my recent apprenticeship at Digital Kitchen as a creative, I was required to develop a personal project that best represented what I had learned from my time at DK. Because DK greatly influenced by desire to explore motion, I decided to create a short narrative animation in which I would illustrate and animate all the assets. All the environments and characters were illustrated in Photoshop and then animated in After Effects. This resulted in a very abstract and visceral animation about companionship vs. isolation.
